St. Thomas Jr. High students attend a lesson on representative government.
St. Thomas junior high students attended a special presentation to learn about our democratic process of government. Kentucky Senator Stein and Rep. Fischer led a detailed discussion about how the governing process works.
Students participated in following a bill through the various branches of government starting with a call to their Representative, arguing a court challenge and signing the bill into law.
Veterans Day Celebration – Monday, November 11
Join us in honoring our nation's veterans on Monday, November 11. We will begin our ceremonies with a posting of colors in the gym at 9:00am. There will be a continental breakfast in the cafeteria immediately following the ceremony.
